Behavior
A peaceful, active burrower that pairs readily. Spends time hovering in the water column near its burrow, darting back when threatened. Compatible with most reef fish that will not outcompete it for food.
Diet & Feeding
Carnivore. Feeds on zooplankton. Provide frozen mysis, baby brine shrimp, and small pellets. Multiple daily feedings recommended.
Cautions
Sand bed required. Jumper — secure lid essential. Avoid housing with aggressive or boisterous fish.
