| Lighting | Moderate |
| Water Flow | Moderate to strong |
| Placement | Mid rock |
| Aggression | Peaceful (allelopathy) |
| Coloration | Neon green (also cream/tan) |
Overview
The Flower Leather forms a low, folded, flower-like plate covered in fine polyps, often in a glowing neon green. A hardy, attractive Sinularia that makes an easy, colorful centerpiece soft coral.
Care & Placement
Easy-going under moderate light and moderate-to-strong flow, which keeps detritus off its folds and the polyps extended. Give it space to spread on mid rockwork. It sheds a waxy film periodically to clean itself.
Feeding
Photosynthetic; supplemental feeding is optional — occasional phytoplankton or fine particulate foods support growth.
Propagation
Easy — cut a section of the leathery tissue and attach it to a plug; it regenerates readily.
Cautions
Mild chemical warfare with other corals — run carbon and allow spacing. Normal periodic sloughing.
