The sera crab food has also been especially developed to
meet the requirements of these animals. In nature, most crayfish species
(e.g. Astacus, Cherax, Procambarus), but also many crabs (e.g.
mangrove crabs) feed mainly on fallen leaves and other organic material, such
as carrion. However, aquatic animals such as insect larvae, gammarus and
aquatic snails are also regularly part of their diet. The staple food for crabs
therefore contains high quality ingredients of both plant and animal origin.
