Behavior
A large, active unicornfish that is peaceful toward other species. Like other large Naso tangs, it requires a very spacious aquarium with plenty of open swimming area. Generally not aggressive and does well in mixed species systems.
Diet & Feeding
Feeds primarily on leafy macroalgae and some zooplankton. Offer dried seaweed, marine algae, and algae-based prepared foods. Supplement with mysis shrimp.
Cautions
Only appropriate for very large (250+ gallon) aquariums. Grows slowly in captivity but will eventually outgrow typical home systems.
