Behavior
A less commonly available tilefish with the same burrowing behavior as other Hoplolatilus species. Pairs readily and is more settled and confident when kept with a partner. Peaceful and compatible with reef inhabitants.
Diet & Feeding
Carnivore. Feeds on zooplankton. Offer frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and small carnivore-appropriate pellets. Multiple small feedings daily.
Cautions
Sand bed required. Jumper — secure lid essential. Sensitive to copper-based medications.
