Cautions

Do not mix Sergeant Majors or other damsels with “shy” and “slow” fish. The latter will, invariably, suffer damage, stress and be out competed for food. This may lead to such stress that they become parasite infested and/or go on a starvation diet. Examples include “Cowfish,” some shy “Tangs” and some “Clowns.”
