Chrysiptera rollandi
| Identification | A small two-toned damsel — a pale bluish-white body with a dark blue-to-black rear half and dorsal fin, and yellow highlights on the lower fins and face. |
|---|---|
| Maximum Length | 2.4″ |
| Origin | Western Pacific |
| Minimum Tank Size | 20 Gallon |
| Reef Compatibility | Reef safe. Harmless to corals and invertebrates. |
Behavior
One of the more peaceful damsels — hardy, active and far less aggressive than most, making it a good reef community fish. It holds a small territory around the rockwork and can be kept singly or, in a large tank, in a small group.
Diet & Feeding
Mysis, enriched brine, frozen preparations, pellet and marine algae; eats almost anything.
Cautions
Mildly territorial, but among the best-behaved damsels; still add it before more timid fish.
