Behavior
This species is a hardy aquarium fish, but given the size it will attain, it should only be kept in very large aquariums. This species tends to be non-aggressive towards other aquarium fish, although from time to time it may show aggression towards other angelfish.
Diet & Feeding
In the wild, this species mainly feeds on sponge, thus the successful aquarist should attempt to provide a reasonable source of this food.
Cautions
This angel gets very large and will fight with other adults if there is a shortage of territory.
