Behavior
Very Shy fish. When scared, will change its’ color to a brownish color.
Diet & Feeding
Varied Diet, mostly vegetable matter. Feed dried and frozen foods for herbivores that contain Spirulina.
Cautions
It should be noted that the 13 dorsal, 4 ventral and 7 anal fin rays all have poison within them which is secreted by poison glands at their base. A wound inflicted by one of these rays is extremely painful but rarely fatal, unless a known circulatory system problem or allergic reaction occurs. To minimize the pain it is recommended that a hard compress be applied immediately to de-nature the poison, thus minimizing the pain.
