Behavior
Also called the Tomini Tang, this is one of the most reef-friendly and manageable tangs available. Peaceful toward tank mates and effective at grazing hair algae. Small enough for moderate-sized reef systems. An excellent algae controller.
Diet & Feeding
Herbivore and detritivore. Grazes continuously on film algae, hair algae, and detritus. Supplement with nori, spirulina, and algae-based pellets. One of the most effective biological hair algae controls in the hobby.
