Behavior

The Dracula Goby is a small, striking shrimp goby that forms a classic symbiotic partnership with a pistol shrimp — the shrimp digs and maintains a burrow while the goby stands guard. Peaceful and fascinating to watch, it hovers near its burrow entrance.

Diet & Feeding

Carnivore. Offer mysis, enriched brine, and small meaty foods; feed a couple of times daily.

Cautions

Small and peaceful — keep with calm tank mates. Best kept with a pistol shrimp for natural behavior. A secure lid is important as it may jump. Provide sand and rubble for burrowing.
