Behavior
Active, open-water swimmer typical of the genus Acanthurus. Generally peaceful toward non-similar species but may display aggression toward other tangs of similar body shape. Provide ample swimming space and rockwork for security. Best introduced before more aggressive tankmates.
Diet & Feeding
Primarily herbivorous. Daily nori seaweed on a clip, plus algae-based pellets or flake. Will graze on natural algae. Supplement with frozen mysis or brine shrimp a few times weekly.
