Nemanthias carberryi

Identification	A slender, brilliantly colored anthias — males are magenta-purple above fading to golden-yellow below with elongated dorsal filaments, females a warmer yellow-orange. Also called the Threadfin Anthias.

Behavior

A peaceful shoaling planktivore that hovers in open water above the reef, picking food from the current. Best kept as a harem (one male with several females) in a mature tank with strong flow and rockwork to bolt into.

Diet & Feeding

Planktivore. Feed small meaty foods — mysis, enriched brine and cyclops — two or three times a day.

Cautions

Needs frequent feeding or it slowly wastes away. Shy on arrival, so house it with calm tankmates. A jumper — keep the tank covered.
