Behavior
The Borbonius (Blotched) Anthias is a spectacular deepwater anthias prized for its intense pink-and-gold coloration. It comes from deeper reefs, so it prefers subdued lighting and plenty of caves, and is more secretive than shallow-water anthias.
Diet & Feeding
Planktivore. Offer frequent small feedings of mysis, enriched brine, and finely chopped meaty foods 2-3 times daily.
Cautions
A pricey deepwater species that appreciates dim light and rockwork to hide in; acclimate lighting gradually. Peaceful but shy — keep with calm tank mates. Secure lid; anthias are jumpers.
