Behavior
One of the most hardy and reef-safe sea cucumber species. Exceptional sand sifter and substrate cleaner. Very active and continuously moves through the substrate processing large volumes of sand.
Diet & Feeding
Deposit feeder. Processes enormous volumes of sand and substrate, extracting bacteria, detritus, and organic particles. One of the best natural sand bed cleaners available.
Cautions
Can release mild defensive compounds if severely stressed or killed. Avoid copper-based medications. Do not purchase specimens that appear visibly damaged or discolored. Do not expose to air.
