Behavior
A scavenging snail that spends most of its time buried in the sand bed, emerging rapidly when food is detected. Excellent sand-bed aerator and detritus cleaner.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivore/Scavenger. Feeds on detritus, uneaten food, and decaying organic matter. Supplement with meaty foods if scavenging opportunities are limited.
