Behavior
A popular and hardy cleanup crew snail from the Atlantic. Works the rockwork and glass surfaces, consuming various forms of nuisance algae. Cannot right itself if flipped — check regularly.
Diet & Feeding
Herbivore. Grazes on hair algae, film algae, diatoms, and cyanobacteria.
Cautions
Unable to right itself when upside down. Check occasionally and flip any overturned specimens before they perish.
