Behavior
Peaceful sand-sifting scavenger. Reef-safe and low-maintenance. Slowly moves through the substrate, ingesting sand and expelling it cleaned of organic matter.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivore. Processes and expels sand, extracting bacteria, detritus, and organic particles. Will also consume suspended organic matter.
Cautions
Like all sea cucumbers, may release mild defensive compounds if severely stressed. Avoid copper-based medications. Keep nitrate levels low. Do not expose to air.
