Purple Lobster

Identification: Light to dark orange body with purple over shadowing and red spots.

Maximum Length: 5″

Origin: Indian Ocean

Minimum tank size: 20 gallon

Behavior: Generally peaceful towards tank mates. Will usually hide during the day.

Feeding and diet: Omnivore. Scavenger. Usually feeds at night sifting through the sand for food.

Reef Compatibility: Reef Safe.

Cautions: As with all invertebrates, be careful with copper based medicines and high nitrate levels.
