Behavior
Peaceful and low-maintenance. Primarily nocturnal. Best known for consuming nuisance Aiptasia anemones. Requires iodine for proper molting. Needs places to hide after molting while its shell re-hardens.
Diet & Feeding
Carnivore. Scavenges through substrate. Will actively hunt and consume Aiptasia anemones — a highly valued clean-up crew behavior.
Cautions
Sensitive to copper-based medications and extreme nitrate levels. Acclimate slowly. Do not add during copper treatments.
