Behavior
A hardy, peaceful cleaner shrimp that sets up cleaning stations and rocks its body to attract fish, then picks parasites and dead tissue from them. Often kept in small groups, where the dancing display is especially active. Somewhat shy; appreciates overhangs.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivore — parasites and dead tissue from fish, detritus, plus most meaty prepared and frozen foods.
Cautions
Sensitive to copper and rapid salinity swings; requires iodine for proper molting. Acclimate slowly.
