Behavior
Peaceful and reef-safe. Sets up “cleaning stations” on rockwork where fish visit to have parasites removed. Requires iodine supplementation for proper molting. Sensitive to rapid changes in water chemistry, particularly salinity.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivore. Scavenges detritus and removes parasites and dead tissue from fish. Will accept most meaty marine foods.
Cautions
Avoid copper-based medications, which are lethal. Keep nitrates low. Acclimate slowly to new tank conditions.
