Behavior

A beautiful but delicate sand-diving wrasse that buries at night. Peaceful and reef safe, but Anampses wrasses are notoriously tricky to establish and need a mature, pod-rich tank.

Diet & Feeding

Carnivore. Needs frequent small meaty foods and live copepods; it can be a difficult starter.

Cautions

Delicate — Anampses have a poor shipping and settling record, so only for an established, pod-rich system with a fine sand bed, fed often. A jumper; keep covered. Not a beginner fish.
