Behavior

Also known as the Six Spot Sleeper Goby. A sand-sifting goby that is active during the day, constantly moving across the sand bed. Less dependent on live sand than some relatives, making it somewhat easier to keep. Works well in pairs and is peaceful with other reef inhabitants.

Diet & Feeding

Sand sifter. Extracts small organisms from substrate. Supplement with frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and frozen copepods. Will also accept quality pellet foods once acclimated.

Cautions

Requires a sand bed. Prone to jumping — use a lid. Ensure it does not starve if the sand bed is not well seeded.
