Behavior

A shoaling planktivore that hovers in the current picking food from the water column. Peaceful and reef safe, it is best kept in a group and needs strong flow and multiple daily feedings.

Diet & Feeding

Planktivore. Feed small meaty foods — mysis, enriched brine and cyclops — several times a day.

Cautions

Needs frequent feeding (2–4x daily) or it wastes away, a common cause of failure. Keep it in a group in a mature tank with strong flow. A jumper; keep covered.
