Mandarin gobies of the same sex will fight unless the tank is large enough for them to co-exist. Has been reported to sometimes eat problematic flatworms

Tiny copepods and amphipods. Vitamin enriched brine shrimp, and live black worms. Will not feed on flakes or pellets.
Cautions
Do not try to keep in a tank less than 6 months. Must have live rock and substrate to survive. Should not be kept with anemones, which will eat this fish.
