Behavior
A hardy, peaceful fang blenny that hovers and glides in open water rather than perching. Like all Meiacanthus it carries venomous grooved canines used purely for defense, so predators leave it alone — making it an easy, trouble-free and very reef-safe community fish.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivore. Readily takes mysis, enriched brine, pellets and flake, and will pick at film algae.
Cautions
Has venomous defensive fangs — harmless in normal keeping, but avoid handling it by hand. Generally peaceful, though it may squabble with other fang blennies in a small tank.
