Behavior
Fascinating but notoriously difficult to keep long-term. Spends most of the time in a single burrow.
Diet & Feeding
Carnivore. Primarily eats live small fish and shrimp in the wild; very challenging to wean onto frozen foods.
Cautions
Expert level only. Very high mortality in captivity; often refuses to eat prepared foods and slowly wastes away.
