Behavior
An unusual, elongated filefish with a distinctive horn-like protuberance above the snout. Swims in a slow, hovering manner. Often mimics drifting algae or debris with its body orientation. An interesting oddity for the experienced hobbyist.
Diet & Feeding
Carnivore with omnivorous tendencies. Feeds on small invertebrates, tunicates, and algae. Offer varied diet of frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and algae.
Cautions
May be slow to accept prepared foods. Patient acclimation with live foods may be required.
