Behavior
This species makes an excellent marine aquarium species as it is relatively hardy, peaceful, and will accept a wide variety of prepared foods. Keeping a group of these fish in a small aquarium environment may lead to some aggression and territorial disputes. Otherwise, it is very unusual for this species to show aggression towards other fish. Care should be given when keeping this species with other fish as they tend to get picked upon by other aggressive species. If possible, this species should be housed with plenty of hiding places since it will like to take refuge when threatened. Also, be certain that the tank in which these fish are kept is well covered since they are known to be excellent leapers.
Diet & Feeding
Small meaty foods like, vitamin enriched brine, mysis shrimp and plankton.
Cautions
Should be kept singly or in male-female pairs. Will jump through small openings.
