Behavior
Peaceful; best kept in a dedicated species tank or with other slow, non-competitive fish. Males carry eggs.
Diet & Feeding
Carnivore. Prefers live copepods and baby brine shrimp; can sometimes be trained onto frozen mysis and Cyclop-eeze.
Cautions
Specialized care required; needs frequent feeding of small live or fine frozen prey.
