Behavior
A peaceful, hardy tang that is active and constantly on the move. Tends to be less commonly offered in the hobby, making it a distinctive addition. Does well in large reef systems with other peaceful tangs.
Diet & Feeding
Herbivore. Provide a diverse diet of dried seaweed, spirulina, and algae-based prepared foods. Offer nori on a clip at least once daily.
Cautions
Requires a large tank to accommodate its adult size. Not commonly seen in retail stores.
