Behavior
This species is a hardy aquarium fish, although it should be provided with plenty of sponge and algae in an attempt to recreate its natural diet. At times, this species can show a fair amount of aggressiveness, particularly towards fish which are introduced after the Koran Angelfish has settled in the aquarium environment. In general, this species will feed on a variety of prepared foods and spend a good portion of its time out in the open in the aquarium. Can live up to 20 years with proper tank conditions and feeding.
Diet & Feeding
This species feeds mainly on sponges and algae in the wild.
Cautions
Juveniles can be pugnacious and should be the last fish introduced to the tank.
