Behavior
A secretive, hardy little fish that perches among rubble, seagrass and macroalgae and darts between hiding spots. Peaceful and completely reef safe — a fine choice for a nano or macroalgae tank where its cryptic charm can be appreciated.
Diet & Feeding
Micro-carnivore. Thrives on a pod-rich tank plus small meaty foods — mysis, enriched brine and finely chopped seafood.
Cautions
Small and cryptic — easily outcompeted for food by bold, fast tankmates, so house it with other peaceful, small fish. Like most blennies it can jump, so keep the tank covered.
