Identification	A spectacular large angel: a bright yellow body dusted with gold spangles, a blue-ringed eye, blue-edged fins and a black-and-yellow tail. One of the most prized (and pricey) angelfish in the hobby.

Behavior

A hardy, bold and truly stunning centerpiece angel once it settles in. Active and inquisitive, it patrols the rockwork all day. Like most large angels it can be territorial and may sample corals, so it is a “with caution” choice for a reef.

Diet & Feeding

Omnivore. Offer a varied diet built around angelfish/sponge-based prepared foods, plus mysis, dried algae/nori and quality pellets to keep its rich color.

Cautions

May nip large-polyp and soft corals, zoanthids and clam mantles — risky in a prized reef. Territorial toward other angelfish, so add it last. Give it generous rockwork and open swimming room, and pristine water.
