Behavior

Docile and secretive; lives buried in the substrate. Nocturnal. Must have a sealed top.

Diet & Feeding

Carnivore. Feed silversides, shrimp, and meaty chunks near the surface of the sand at night.

Cautions

May prey on small crustaceans. Can be difficult to feed in a reef setting.
