| Reef Compatibility | Ideal for the reef aquarium. An occasional specimen may wallow in polyps or corals, which can irritate them and cause them to close. If this does happen, attempt to add a sea anemone for it. |
Behavior
Peaceful fish and makes an ideal choice for a mixed aquarium. Very hardy and usually disease-resistant. Will usually adopt any “Clown Safe” anemone for a host.
Diet & Feeding
Varied diet, including meaty food items, such as mysis shrimp, vitamin enriched brine shrimp, as well as frozen preparations.
Cautions
Best acquired as juveniles and kept in pairs or singly; adults will fight with each other.
