Behavior

A hardy deepwater butterfly that is peaceful and tends to keep to caves and overhangs at first. It settles well in a calm tank with shaded rockwork, and often does best as a pair.

Diet & Feeding

Omnivore. Offer mysis, enriched brine and marine preparations; it is usually a good eater for a deepwater butterfly.

Cautions

Will sample LPS, soft corals and zoanthids. From deeper water — acclimate to bright lighting slowly. Shy on arrival, so keep it with peaceful tankmates.
