Behavior
Active, fast-swimming fish common on Atlantic reefs. Terminal phase males are haremic and defend territories. One of the most abundant Caribbean reef fish. Hardy and easy to feed.
Diet & Feeding
Carnivore. Feeds on small fish, invertebrates, and zooplankton. In the aquarium, accepts most meaty frozen foods and prepared diets readily.
