Behavior

Active; semi-aggressive toward smaller fish. Males can be territorial toward similar species.

Diet & Feeding

Carnivore. Feed mysis, enriched brine, and meaty frozen foods; also eats ectoparasites off other fish.

Cautions

Will eat ornamental shrimp and small crustaceans.
