Behavior

The Blue Angel is a popular and beautiful species that will make for a nice addition to a semi aggressive fish only tank, with other community type fish i.e. Butterflies, Tangs, Wrasse etc.

Diet & Feeding

The Holacanthus bermudensis is an omnivore and likes to feed on marine algae, mysid shrimp, Spirulina, Sponges and other fresh or frozen seafoods. The diet of all larger angels consists heavily of sponge material, so it is recommended to feed “Angel Formula” by: Ocean Nutrition, which has a very high sponge percentage mixed in the food

Cautions

May act aggressively towards other Angels, and other tank mates. Best to be kept in a semi aggressive community type aquarium.
