Behavior
A hardy, active, peaceful schooling fish that grows large and needs a very big tank with open swimming room. Juveniles are appealing but quickly outgrow small systems. Best in groups where space allows.
Diet & Feeding
Meaty foods — mysis, chopped shrimp, clam, squid and prepared foods; a hearty eater.
Cautions
Reaches a very large adult size — plan for it. Will eat ornamental invertebrates.
