Behavior

A hardy, bold, intelligent trigger with enormous personality that becomes tame and interactive. It is territorial and grows increasingly assertive with age, and cannot be trusted with invertebrates.

Diet & Feeding

Carnivore. Feed meaty foods — shellfish, shrimp, krill and squid; hard-shelled items help wear its teeth down.

Cautions

Aggressive and territorial as it matures — choose robust tankmates and add it last. It eats ornamental shrimp, crabs and snails and may nip corals. A powerful bite; handle with care.
