Behavior

Very peaceful; slow-moving. Must be kept with peaceful, non-competitive tankmates. Males brood eggs.

Diet & Feeding

Carnivore/micropredator. Requires frequent offerings of live baby brine shrimp, copepods, and amphipods. Difficult to keep long-term.

Cautions

Expert care required. Difficult to feed; requires live small prey or very fine frozen alternatives.
