Identification	A striking deepwater angel — a white to silvery body crossed by a broad black band toward the rear, with a black-crowned head and yellow-edged fins. Rarely seen in the trade.

Behavior

A hardy but uncommon deepwater angel with real presence. Peaceful for its size though territorial toward other angels, and it appreciates shaded rockwork while it acclimates up from deeper water.

Diet & Feeding

Omnivore. Offer sponge-based angelfish preparations, mysis, dried algae/nori and pellets.

Cautions

May nip corals, clams and sessile invertebrates. Coming from deeper reefs, acclimate it to bright reef lighting gradually. Expensive and uncommon — quarantine and settle it carefully.
