|---|---|
| Maximum Length | about 10″ |
| Origin | Indo-Pacific |
| Minimum Tank Size | 100 Gal. |
| Reef Compatibility | Not reef safe (with caution) |
Behavior
A hardy, bold trigger with plenty of personality — less aggressive than some, but still territorial. It rearranges rockwork and cannot be trusted with invertebrates.
Diet & Feeding
Carnivore. Feed meaty foods — shellfish, shrimp, krill and squid; hard-shelled items keep its teeth worn.
Cautions
Territorial as it matures — choose robust tankmates and add it last. It eats ornamental shrimp, crabs and snails and may nip corals, and it rearranges décor.
