Dendrochirus brachypterus
Also sold as the Yellow Fuzzy Dwarf Lion — the same species (Dendrochirus brachypterus) in its yellow color form. Fuzzy Dwarf Lions range from deep red through yellow to brown.

Behavior
A hardy, slow-moving and surprisingly personable dwarf lionfish — ideal where a full-size Volitan would be too large. It perches on the rockwork by day and hunts at dusk, stalking prey with its outspread pectoral fins. It will not harm corals, but it is a patient predator of small fish and shrimp.
Diet & Feeding
Carnivore. Wean it onto meaty foods — mysis, silversides and chunks of marine seafood offered on a feeding stick. Some individuals start on live food before switching to frozen.
Cautions
The dorsal spines are venomous and deliver a very painful sting — handle with great care and seek medical attention if stung. It will eat any fish or shrimp small enough to swallow, so choose tankmates accordingly. Avoid overfeeding, which leads to health problems.
