Behavior
A cold-water species that thrives in cooler reef tanks (60–72°F). Highly active algae grazer; one of the best options for tanks kept at lower temperatures.
Diet & Feeding
Herbivore. Grazes on film algae, diatoms, and hair algae from rock and glass.
Cautions
Prefers cooler water — may not do well in tanks above 74°F. Best suited for coldwater or cool-running reef systems.
