Behavior
One of the smaller and more uniquely patterned boxfish. The scribbled markings are distinctive and highly variable between individuals. Peaceful and slow-moving. Does well in calm aquariums without aggressive tank mates.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivore. Graze on small invertebrates, sponges, and algae. Offer frozen mysis, brine shrimp, marine algae, and reef pellets.
Cautions
Ostracitoxin risk under stress. Keep in peaceful community only. Avoid copper-based medications.
