Behavior
One of the most demanding anemones in the hobby. Natural host for Percula, Ocellaris, and several other clownfish species. Requires very high-intensity lighting (metal halide or high-watt LED). Excellent water quality is mandatory.
Diet & Feeding
Photosynthetic. Supplement regularly with meaty foods. High metabolic demands due to large size.
Cautions
Very high mortality rate in suboptimal conditions. Only for experienced keepers with established, mature systems. Requires intense lighting — T5 or LED at 250+ PAR minimum. Will move and sting neighboring corals.
